These classes run after school to support your child alongside mainstream education from Y7 through to Y11. At GCSE level, there are several classes available depending on your child's target grade to ensure they are getting the most focussed tuition possible. Pupils are also able to request content for these sessions to ensure they are both bespoke and relevant.

Classes are online and capped at 8 students, first come first served.

S.o.M.E is run by an experienced qualified maths teacher, whose roles encompassed 2nd in Department for Mathematics and Head of Year 11. This in-depth knowledge of the both the subject and important exam year, has allowed her students to thrive both in and out of the classroom on the road to Year 11.

The national average pass rate for GCSE maths in 2023 was 68%. We achieved 80% with our home educated students. This year, 100% of our cohort are on track to pass. We have helped students in mainstream education improve by up to 3 grades in one academic year, meaning they can go to their first choice 6th form, college or preferred post-16 choice.

The primary aim for every masterclass or lesson, is to engage and excite pupils. We have a huge interest in the science behind metacognition (how we learn and remember), and actively use these skills in lessons to help imprint knowledge into our students’ long term memory. We use a variety of online platforms, games, quizzes and offline projects in order to do this most effectively.
